The Globalaw Foundation, led by our partner Marco Bolognini, recently announced donations to two local charities during its Annual Meeting in São Paulo, Brazil. These contributions align with the Foundation’s commitment to support communities in need, with a particular focus on legal education and access to justice. Held from September 25 to 28, 2024, the meeting brought together lawyers from around the world to discuss and foster collaboration within the Globalaw network.
The Foundation donated R$22,000 (approximately US$4,000) to the Centro Comunitário Ludovico Pavone Paróquia Nossa Sra da Provide, a non-profit organization that provides educational, social, and cultural support to children and adolescents from low-income families in São Paulo. This donation will aid the organization in continuing its mission of promoting social inclusion and citizenship, as well as providing a dignified education to children. The charity expressed its heartfelt gratitude to both the Globalaw Foundation and Almeida Advogados for making a lasting impact on the lives of those they serve.
Another donation of R$22,000 (approximately US$4,000) was made to Missao Belem, a Catholic movement that provides essential support to homeless individuals and vulnerable groups in Brazil and abroad. This contribution will help Missao Belem continue offering shelter, food, clothing, and health care to those in need. Representatives from Missao Belem thanked the GLOBALAW FOUNDATION for its generosity, highlighting the organization’s role in transforming lives and providing hope to the most vulnerable.
